So, I went and found the Fox and apologized for being an ass. He basically said that he was trying to teach me a lesson by calling me feathers. What? Learning to ignore people that insist on being assholes? Whatever. He said that he wanted to learn Binding and offered to lay off the Feather's name if I did.

That bugged me. I disliked him not giving me information unless I agreed to teach him Spirit Speech, before. And, I disliked him trying to extort me into teaching him something else. No, I will not allow him to bully me in to things. He had said that he wanted to learn it, so he could help his Tribe and the Wendigo. That's good enough for me, honestly. The fuzzies need a little help sometimes, even if they're not likely to ever admit it. I'll teach him eventually. When I have a bit more time. Making it out there and finding him takes a bit too much at the moment.

If he decides to drop the Feathers name, I won't object. But, it's his call if he wants to continue being an ass or not. I'm not going to reward him for for being rude and I'd rather have him 'owe me one' for teaching him the Rite. That, and I remember the favour he pulled for me a year earlier when he helped me dispose of vampire remains.



Got a voicemail from Nick, followed up by a phone call before I got to the voicemail. Charley had gone and gotten himself hurt, so I dropped by the Fang Kin's place to check up on him and see how he was doing. Charley looked fine, but his lungs were a bit mucked up. It wasn't to serious, so I patched him up no problem. Seems that he encountered smoke-belching pigeons? Seriously? Smog-Bane, maybe? Wonder what is prompting the things to infest pigeons. Huh. All that aside Nick, Salem, and I are all set to go to Idaho as soon as the moon gets big enough. Riley and I need to heads down to Vancouver, Washington, for a few days.
