After making use of the Lucent Witness and some info I've picked up over the years, I know a lot more about Mages then many Shifters. The information is out there, but it is terribly scattered and until now, most of it has been in the hands of the Cats and they're generally not all that big on sharing information. I was all excited until I had Charley over and well, got nervous. People don't always like it when you know too much about them...

Anyway, I had Charley over and we had a nice chat about my trip and what he's been up too in the last few months. Gave him some Awakened Rum and hopefully he doesn't hate me now, as I've seen the hangover that stuff gives Nicodemus and Charley was sucking it back readily enough (Once he got past the fact that it was loaded with Spirit.). Also gave him a small bit of jewellery I'd made and a plant, which seemed to make him happy. I also spilled the beans about all the Mage stuff I've learned. Charley took it really well, which was a relief. Even showed me his arm, the veins of which had gone rather silvery. Seems he'd pushed his Magic a bit far and got hit with 'Paradox' as a result. Had a bit too much Awakened Rum myself and was probably a bit more chatty then I should have been in general...

Did kinda ask Charley not to tell Nicodemus about all the Mage knowledge I have now... Not until I get to tell him myself. Really want him to be more comfortable around me, talking with me... Hope this doesn't scare him off.

Came across Kitty crying under a bridge and had a nice little chat with her and hopefully I helped her out some. I mean, she seemed to be having a fair bit of trouble adjusting to what she is. I told her that spending some time as a wolf might help some, as most of her trouble seems to be coming from over thinking everything and worrying about the future. Which is something that is very much a part of of human side... Our animal half doesn't worry about quite the same things.

So, I finally got around to showing up at Nicodemus place to pick up my Motorcycle. We started talking and I was getting myself all worked up to talk about what I learned, but Nick kinda cut me off and vacated the area. Poor guy. One advantage of being a Shifter is that I don't suffer from IBS... I wonder if a Mage could fix that if they had enough Life Magic?

Anyway, I went back the next morning and Nick actually made me breakfast! I did natter away at him and he was certainly a bit surprised, but he wasn't angry with me (Thank Gaia) and he does seem more open now. It's nice... We talked some about the stuff that worries Nick, since he knows that information is power and he doesn't want any other Mages hurt because of something he lets me know... And how something ages past had made him close up some We also just had a bit of a chat about what it means to be a Corax and while we are all about finding out secrets and talking about them, some of those Secrets don't leave the Corax community. We know SHIT, but we also have the brains and the Wisdom not to tell everyone everything. Teach Them what They'll Learn. If the information isn't going to teach them something, they don't need to know it.

I think, I think that went really well.

Later, Nick showed me his eyeball plant. It was gross. Wonder where he has been keeping the weird thing?

Met a new face at the Fury House named Ex, or Rogue. Real piece of work that one, and she scared the ever living snot out of me.   Particularly when she started frothing at the mouth when I told her that I used to be a cop and that I was a PI now. Or, as she put it a Pig and a Snoop. Only real saving grace in the whole situation was that I was on a roof, on the /edge/ of the roof and I was certain that I could bolt to safety if the kid decided to loose her shit. She did not seem all that stable. Honestly, a Frenzying garou is almost easier to deal with then one that is just mad at you. When they Frenzy, they don't think and if you're quick, you can get away. If they're just mad... Well, there are plenty of ways to knock a bird out of the air. Anyway, I did manage to wrangle some info out of her and with Riley's help I was able to use Mindspeak to get a better idea of where she came from. Sounds like a DNA-Like set up to me. Grab the cub when they're young and poke'em with sticks in the name of science and and a cure to the 'werewolf' disease.

From what the kid showed me, I was able to find a shell company in Colorado. What they were doing in Washington I have no real idea, but best guess would suggest that they were transferring her from on facility to another. Going to do what I can to track down more info. No idea if I'll get anywhere with this, but I'd like to be able to find this place and let the wolves burn it to the ground.
