Please use +map industrial on the MUSH to get an idea of the layout of the industrial sector in-game.

Waste from the various factories, tenements, clubs, and other establishments flow through pipping in to the main sewers. The pipes from the buildings are far too small to navigate, unless one is a rat. While the main sewer/storm tunnels run beneath the streets,1st-15th (and under many of the buildings), are large enough to walk in, roughly four abreast, and are just tall enough to stand in 7feet. A narrow walkway will keep you out of the worst of the muck, but it's only good if you're going single file. Two hispo could walk together, side by side, in the tunnels, but one would have to be slogging through the sludge/muck. A crinos would find themselves very uncomfortable, hunched over and lacking any real room to move around. Manholes or stormdrains are present every 50-100 feet, providing relatively easy and exit/entry from the sewers. While many of the manholes/stormdrains are on main streets, a fair number are located in the alleyways that run between the various buildings. Picking a random spot to exit the sewers from, will result in a 50/50 chance of leading to an alley, or a main street.

The package consists of two maps, one of the Industrial Sector and a city map from the archives, that shows the layout of the sewers, and a typed note:

Good day to you. It appears that the sewers are filled with all manner of things these days. Oversized rats, acid producing slugs, leeches, and a number of other things that really can't be described all that well. Now, in my opinion, this is a situation that really can't be tolerated. As such, I've decided to lend some assistance, by providing some information on some of the things that may be encountered in the sewers.

If you enter the sewers in the north-west end of the Industrial sector, you will likely encounter a number of large rats and foot-long acid producing slugs. The rats are no brighter than average vermin, but more aggressive, and are very sensitive to bright lights. They have two nest locations that I have discovered (two intersections in the north-west end), where they seem to be originating from. The slugs are much like the normal variety, in that have a great dislike for salt.

Best of Luck,
The Sewer Queen
