Back home in St. Claire.

First day back in St. Claire and I touched base with Brad. Was nice just to talk and he seemed pleased with the gift of spices. I really hope the girls like the clothes that I got for them. He told me about Cate, the new Uktena in town and fact that there was some sort f fuss in the south end that pissed Reggie right off, while I was outta town. Never a dull moment in this city. 



Not all that long after talking with Brad, I ran by the pool hall and I managed to run in to Cate - the new Uktena. FIgured it was her judging by the description Brad gave me. Lady with big hair and and likes to drink White Russians. Took a gable that I was seeing the new wolf in town and after a quick check with my radar trick and yep, new wolf in town. 

Had a nice little chat with her and told her about the strange Umbral maps that have been showing up on the sides of buildings.Don't think I was entirely at my best during that little meeting. Blame that one jetlag. 



Ha! Got a call from the  agent that I contacted before I went on my little Umbra trip. A building has become available and I can swing the rent, even if it's going to make my finances damn tight for the next few years. Still, damn, Snakes and Lattes is a go. Just a matter of getting the place set up and running. Once established, the Cafe should make me some money and the upper floor can turn in to a news room for the local Kinfolk. Perfect!
